JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Junior development is an area of high priority for us at Coffs Coast Golf Solutions. Our Head Teaching Professionals Matt Allan and Peter Pearce bring over 30 years of professional experience to local juniors. Young golfers start their golfing journey with the popular and successful Kidz Klub held every Saturday morning at 9:30. As they become more skilled and competent they move to Sub-Junior status where they play early on Saturday morning in a supervised competition, followed by entering the Junior Program. We also host weekly competitions, and School Holiday Squads to add to the enjoyment of the great game. This co-ordinated Junior Development Program is highly regarded and very successful.

We work in co-ordination with the Club’s Junior Coordinator, Mr Bill Mackay and his team,  we carefully monitor our young golfer’s progress, and offer guidance and tuition in their  endeavour to enjoy and improve their golf.

Kids Klub is held on most Saturday mornings at 09:30am and is for beginner golfers from the ages of 6 to 14. The cost is $3 payable to Bill Mackay in the Clubhouse prior to commencement. Classes are run by two of the country’s highest accredited Coaching Professionals. Matt Allan and Peter Pearce will take the Klub through basic swing techniques with fun, easy to understand instruction.

Progression from Kids Klub to a Sub-Junior Level occurs through agreement between our Professionals and Bill Mackay. Sub-Junior competitions are held on Saturday mornings at 06:30am. The “Subbies” are graded in terms of ability in Grades A, B and C.

We also conduct SUB JUNIOR SQUADS for juniors looking to improve their skills. Squads are held on Wednesday afternoons (outside of school holidays) between 4pm and 5pm. COST – $25 per term. Squads are limited to 8 players per term, and are coached by MATT ALLAN. Bookings via the Pro Shop.
